Terms of Service
Last updated 04 November 2026
Plain rules for a simple product. Read the short version, or the whole thing below.
This agreement
These terms apply whenever you visit linkedindataapi.com, use the LinkedInDataAPI console or call the LinkedInDataAPI API. In this document, “LinkedInDataAPI”, “we” and “us” refer to Prism Digital, LLC (131 Continental Dr Suite 305, Newark, DE 19713, US), the operator of those services, and “you” means the person using them. If you use LinkedInDataAPI on behalf of a company, you confirm that you can accept these terms for it, and “you” includes that company.
If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the service.
What the service does
LinkedInDataAPI returns information that is publicly visible on the web: public professional profiles, career history, company firmographics, public activity posts, and public job postings.
LinkedInDataAPI is an independent developer infrastructure provider and has no partnership or affiliation with LinkedIn Corporation, Microsoft Corporation, Clearbit/HubSpot, or Apollo.io.
Your account and API keys
- You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a binding contract.
- The details you give us when you sign up must be accurate.
- Your API keys work like passwords. Store them securely and rotate a key as soon as you think it has leaked. Every request made with your key is billed to your account.
Credits and billing
LinkedInDataAPI uses a unified credit ledger ($1 = 10,000 Credits, 1 Credit = $0.0001). You top up your balance or purchase a monthly plan by credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, and Google Pay via Stripe with automatic official PDF invoices and VAT/Tax ID support) or cryptocurrency through our payment processors, and each successful billable request (code === 0) is deducted at the rate shown on the pricing page. Pay-As-You-Go credit packs never expire.
If we change our prices, the new rate will be published on the pricing page before it applies.
We may also grant promotional credits, such as 2,000 free trial credits to qualifying new accounts at sign-up. Whether an account qualifies is decided by automated abuse checks. Promotional credits are spent before your paid balance, earliest expiry first, and each grant expires 60 days after it is issued; any unused part is then void. They have no cash value and cannot be refunded, withdrawn or transferred.
Refunds are covered by the Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use LinkedInDataAPI, or data obtained through it, to:
- harass, stalk, threaten, dox or intimidate any person;
- single out people based on sensitive characteristics such as health, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation or political views;
- make consumer credit, housing, insurance or FCRA-regulated eligibility decisions;
- try to obtain non-public data, get around our access controls or rate limits, or use someone else’s API key;
- disrupt, overload, probe or reverse-engineer our systems;
- break any law, or infringe anyone else’s rights.
Your responsibility for the data
You choose what to request and what to do with the results. Public professional profiles can contain personal information, so it is up to you to have a lawful basis for processing it and to follow the privacy and data protection laws (including GDPR and CCPA) that apply to you.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.
